Happy Halloween Mansion

Tonight, Ty, a co-worker of James's at Rice, invited us to join her family at the Children's Museum for Happy Halloween Mansion. Ty brought along her two children, Jonas and Ari, who are both older than Andrew, but were really, really sweet to him.

Since this was an event for certain membership levels (our family membership not included), it was less crowded, which was really nice. They also served dinner catered by James Coney Island, which is where we walked to first to try to beat the rush. Andrew totally devoured his hot dog!!

After we ate, we walked around and explored the museum. They had lots of Halloween-related activities such as ghost bubbles and blood races (red Kool-Aid type liquid). We also stopped by at various stations so the kids could get some treats and also get punches for the scavenger hunt in order to get a prize at the end.

It was a wonderful time and Andrew had lots of fun! I was very grateful that Ty was kind enough to ask us to join them and that we were able to go.
