Picnic in the Park

This morning, we took Andrew to the zoo since the weather was so nice. Though, I have to say Andrew was more interested in riding the carousel and the train rather than seeing the animals. However, we managed to see some animals and spent a good amount of time in the Children's Zoo playing. Andrew played on the playground and went down a few slides in another part of the Children's Zoo. He came across this girl (probably like ten years old or so) and became infatuated with her. He kept trying to follow her around. He left her to go the playground for a bit, but then he wanted to go to the petting zoo and she happened to be there. So, he wanted to follow her again. It was getting hotter and about time to leave the zoo. When we said we were going to ride the train, his focus shifted completely to that.

Daddy and Andrew rode the train while I relaxed on a bench. After the ride, we walked over to Little Bigz and ordered some fries and a milkshake. We had packed a lunch for us to have a little picnic there at the park. We decided to sit at the tables instead of the ground and had our little makeshift picnic there. Andrew didn't mind--he just liked sitting outside and eating.

I know the first photo is a little cloudy, but my camera had steamed up do to the heat and I didn't realize it, but it's the best picture from the carousel.
