The Galleria with Josh

We hadn't seen Anh and Josh in such long time so we were estatic to have a play date with him this morning. Josh's grandmother was going to watch Brendon so it would just be the four of us and we could go out somewhere. They hadn't been to the Galleria to play on the Little Galleria or ride the train so they chose to do that. Andrew was so excited to see Josh that he kept saying "Josh" in the car on the ride over.

When we arrived at the Little Galleria, we found Anh and Josh quickly and the boys went off to run around. They played well together chasing one another and some other kids as well. One time, they had separated and Andrew was looking for Josh. When I pointed him out and Drew caught sight of him, he waved his hand in the air and yelled, "Hi Josh!" so loudly and full of excitement. It was so cute.

Then, they were both done with the playground and were ready to ride the train. So, we walked over towards the train. The boys even held hands and tried to run together on the way. Accident totally waiting to happen. We had a few missteps, but nothing major thankfully.

Anyhow, we get to the train and it's time to board. Well, Josh's favorite color is blue and Andrew's is green. Thus, Josh wanted to ride the blue car and Andrew wanted to ride the green car. No problem, right?! Well, Andrew wanted to sit with Josh so he decided that he wanted to sit in the blue car with Josh and Anh. It was a little tight of a squeeze, but we managed just fine. And then for a moment or two, Andrew hesitated and said he wanted back in the green car. Well, I gave him the options--stay with Josh in the blue car or go to the green car. He chose to stay with Josh. It's the first time he's ever rode another color car besides the green car at the Galleria.

After the ride, we headed to the Disney store to check out what they had. We found his cool Cars ramp toy where you can race cars. The boys had a great time running around the store playing with whatever they could. They didn't want to leave. But we told them we were going to meet Aunt Thuy for lunch at Fung's Kitchen. The boys ate great, but Andrew did get a little antsy towards the end of the meal. But all in all, he was still pretty good. We had a great time with everyone!
