UT v. Baylor

Today started with a trip to the Galleria--or Daddy's own personal hell as he jokes. But it was actually James's idea to go there this morning since Mommy had to return some things ordered from J. Crew and wanted to check out some other sales. Since Andrew is not much of a shopper, Daddy was so sweet to take him around the mall. They saw some aquariums, water fountains, and the ice skating rink. After shopping, we decided to go the newly opened Rainforest Cafe thinking that Andrew might like it. He was very interested in all the animals and wanted to walk around the restaurant several times over especially to Tracy, the talking tree. He did get a little scared during the thunderstorm, but not too bad. I was scared that he might cry or worse, want to leave. He just stayed close to us, but no crying.

Andrew ended up falling asleep on the ride home, but woke up when we pulled into the garage. He didn't want to go back to sleep. Since he wasn't fussy, we just let him play and hoped that he would get tired and then want to take his nap. Nope, never happened.

We had recorded the UT game against the Baylor Bears; so we started watching it when we got home. So love DVR!! Mommy ended up falling asleep on the couch while Daddy watched the game and Andrew. Another win for the Longhorns! I have to admit we are feeling the BCS fever!
