As I have mentioned in previous posts, Andrew has been playing/working with puzzles for some time now. But recently, he has really gotten into them and does them fairly well. At first, we would do them after bathtime before bedtime. But now, he will also ask to do them during the day as well. His favorite ones right now are the Melissa & Doug Chunky Puzzles for which we have the alphabet, numbers, and shapes.
There are times, we don't have to point to where they go. Sometimes, we just tell him the corresponding picture that goes along with the puzzle piece. For a while, he would say "no" when he hit a wrong spot and then move on. Since we are trying to curb him saying "no", we now try to say instead "not quite" and "try again."
