Ngoai came up tonight to babysit Andrew while Daddy and Mommy went to Mike and Kathleen's wedding. Ngoai actually arrived earlier than expected; and I had this quick notion that she could do my hair. I just planned on curling it simply, but why not let the professional do it!?
Originally, the plan was for Daddy to attend the ceremony by himself and then come back home to pick Mommy up and take me to the reception. I didn't want Ngoai watch Andrew for too long by herself (and we weren't sure exactly what time Ngoai was going to be done with work and be able to drive up). But since she came up early and the chruch and the reception facility were so close to each other, she said I could go to the ceremony as well.
The wedding was absolutely amazing! The bride was beautiful and radiant. The groom handsome and very dapper in his coattails. They look so happy! We couldn't be happier for them both--they are such terrific people. Everything was so elegant! We had such a great time seeing everyone too including so many of James's MBA classmates who came in for the wedding from all over the world.
We got home a little while ago. Ngoai said that Andrew was very good for her again! He ate dinner well and behaved during bathtime. Then, Drew wanted to watch a Thomas DVD and actually started to fall asleep on the couch around 6:30pm!! So, after all the worrying Mommy had done, Ngoai only really had to watch Andrew for three hours. I guess the short nap caught up to him! Ha ha!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Lalor! We are so glad that we could celebrate with you on this beautiful day!
