Sunday in League City

Today, we just hung out at house with Nhat and his family. We had thought about taking them to Kemah Boardwalk but it got really hot. It would have been unbearable. Uncle Anh Tuan was going to take them to Main Event, but Jackie wasn't feeling too well so Nhat just thought it would be good to just chill at home and let the girls relax.

The girls chose to watch "Beauty and the Beast" and "Hercules". Andrew watched some of both movies, but it didn't hold his attention that long. We pretty much figured that he wouldn't be able to watch an entire movie yet. Andrew would instead watch a little and then go play. We tried to see if he would fall asleep while watching the movie, but no luck. We had to take him into the bedroom where he finally went down.

I think we all fell asleep for some part in time except for the girls. We were supposed to go to Aunt Hong's house at 3pm, but Andrew was still sleeping. So, I took Nhat and them over there while Daddy stayed with Andrew. While the adults chatted, the girls loved played with Daisy and Bennett--or rather, more so, Bennett. Daisy was a little highstrung for them and Bennett was much more friendly.

Then, we went back to Ngoai's house before we headed over to Uncle 10's house for dinner. They grilled out some fish which we ate with rice paper and soup. Andrew ate a few rice papers and fruit. Andrew played trains, banged on the Rock Band drums, and even got a little gaming action in. They gave him a PS3 controller and Andrew thought he was playing. Already feeding into the addiction!

The twins also just got a bird and Andrew kept looking at him. And he remembered playing with these diecast airplanes that 5 and 6 had let him play with on a previous visit. He took Anh Tuan right into their room and showed them to him asking him if he could play with them. Crazy memory sometimes!!

Of course, by the end of the night, Andrew didn't want to go home. He wanted to stay and play, but we had to drive back to our house so Daddy could go to work tomorrow morning. Again, we thought he might fall asleep on the way home, but no such luck. I just hope his days of sleeping in the car aren't behind us!!
