Seeing the Tses

We drove into San Antonio last night. The main reason for our trip was to see Uncle Joey and his family who were in town from Michigan. They just recently moved back from Belgium. The Tses were the family that we visited during our European trip almost three years ago. Gosh, I remember we were just pregnant with Andrew on that trip. How times have changed!!

Anyhow, we were to head over to Joey's parents' house Saturady morning for a little bit of swimming and a lot bit of catching up.

Unfortunately for us, their eldest son, Nathan, wasn't there for he was hanging out with his cousins. But Hannah and Sarah were there and were very sweet and cute. Andrew followed both the girls around like he had known them forever instead of having only met them just one time before.

Andrew immediately got sight of the pool and wanted to go swimming. The girls were kind enough to join us. The Tses have a big slide and Andrew watched both the girls go down. Hannah is a good swimmer and Sarah had floaties so they were able to go down by themselves. Andrew didn't quite understand how deep the water was. But he tried to climb up the slide himself. I guess he got scared because once he got kind of high, he started to climb back down. Instead I held him down about halfway down the slide and guided him down the rest of the way where Daddy caught him. But later on, Daddy and Andrew went down the slide together. I don't think he liked it that much because he didn't ask to do it again.

Thel ittle fool also decided to just walk off the diving board on his own after he saw both the girls jump off. Luckily, Daddy was there to catch him. Such a little daredevil! Andrew also enjoyed the hot tub. He loved jumping back and forth into Uncle Joey's and Daddy's arm. It was almost like he's diving towards them.

After swimming, we went back inside to clean up. Andrew had worked up an appetite and wanted to have some fruit snacks. He even wanted two bags to give to the girls. So sweet. Mr. Tse was sweet giving Andrew ice cream and a sandwich. Anyhow, it was time to take Andrew home for a nap. But we had a great time seeing the Tses. We don't get to see them nearly enough, but when we do, it's such a nice time.

Joey and Nicci, thanks again for making time for us to come see you guys. We miss you lots and hope to see you all very soon!!
