This evening, Andrew and I went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Uncle Steven and Aunt Belinda had invited us and Aunt Monica to join them and Evan for opening night. Daddy wasn't feeling well so he stayed home to rest (he didn't think that rodeo food was going to help matters--I have to agree with him).
Andrew was so excited to see Evan and play with him. They each went on a few rides including a mini-roller coaster that actually went rather fast that I wasn't sure if Andrew would be scared or not. But he did great on it!! Of course, Andrew remembered riding the train last year and asked if he could ride it again. We finally found it and the two boys rode it.
As for the adults, we were most excited about all the delicous food. We ate sausage, fries, nachos, fried Oreos, and fried cheesecake. To say we stuffed ourselves silly would be a severe understatement!
With all the fun we were having, we lost track of time. It was almost 9pm! So, Andrew, Monica and I headed home while the Lin family headed into Reliant Stadium to watch some of the livestock show and a little bit of the concert.
We had a wonderful time!! Can I just say that I absolutely love rodeo time!?!?
