Today, we had our last class of Gymboree. We were running a little late late from Zoo Boo, but luckily, we didn't miss too much. Ms. Angie was just showing the kids pictures. Andrew ran in and sat down right in front of Ms. Angie, his coveted spot. Andrew hadn't been to class in a good while, but remembered a lot of the routine.
The class today centered around pumpkins for the Halloween holiday. Andrew had fun playing along planting pumpkin seeds, pushing a pumpkin, and searching for them as well. And of course, he had fun with all the usuals--the rainbow rope, bubble time, maracas, Wheels on the Bus, and the Gymbo Dance. He had so much fun!
I couldn't help to feel a little sad going through all the routines thinking it would be the last time we did them. It's the ending of a big part of Andrew's infancy and toddlerhood. Andrew knows we aren't going to go to Gymboree anymore, but not sure if he fully comprehends it entirely. It's been such a big part of our lives for so long. So, goodbye dear Gymbo and Gymboree!! Thanks for all the great times and memories. And many, many thanks to our favorite teacher, Ms. Angie, for making it so memorable for us! We love you more than you will know! It has meant the world for me to have you as Andrew's teacher.
