Tomorrow was Papa's Friday to be off from work. But since it was also Good Friday, he had Thursday off too. Thus, we decided to go home this morning and spend the night down in League City so Daddy could study tonight and we could spend more time with Ngoai and Papa.
The grandparents wanted to take Andrew back to Kemah Boardwalk to ride the train and walk around. But this time, it was strange because when we were boarding the train, Andrew didn't want to get on (even though he had said all along he wanted to ride it). I just told my dad he's done this before and that he would be fine when the train started going. Sure enough, he cried at first, but calmed down quickly and enjoyed the rest of the ride. Such a weirdo!! Ha! Afterwards as we walked around, we played on the playscape and fed the ducks and birds. Andrew had a great time doing both.
On the way home, we had to drop off Ngoai at her shop since her car was still parked there (we had picked her up on the way to Keman to save time). She was driving in front of us and turned into Krogers to pick up some food. Andrew just lost it!! He wanted to go to the store too. He kept crying out "Ngoai! Please! Me!" We decided to turn around and take him to the store.
I had told my parents about Andrew hunting for eggs. They were so badly wanting to do an egg hunt at their house so they could watch Andrew one in person. So, while I took Andrew his bath, my folks hid the eggs. They hid them a lot harder than we did in the backyard. But Andrew was so into it--and he caught on quickly to having to look a little harder for eggs. Of course, Ngoai and Papa helped him out too. It was a great ending to a great day!!
