Play Date with Gavin and Baby Shane

Another family we have met out and about is Andrea and her two sons, Gavin (around 6 months older than Andrew) and Baby Shane (around 7 months old). We have chatted with one another quite a bit; and Gavin and Drew like to play together as well. So, Andrea and I wanted to have a play date so the boys could play some more. What's even better is that they actually live very closeby so it was easy for them to come over to our house this morning.

Of course, the boys played trains and trucks. Andrew did some good sharing. There weren't any meltdowns or fighting thankfully! Baby Shane got to play with some of Andrew's toys that I pulled out especially for the youngster to play with as well. Gavin always cracks me up especially seeing how he is not a big hugger and Andrew is always trying to hug him. Sometimes, Gavin will give him the stiff arm or yell "no hugs"--or both! Poor Andrew doesn't understand that some people aren't as affectionate as his Mommy and don't like hugs and kisses.

Anyways, it was lots of fun and we will definitely be doing it again sometime. I took some quick pictures because I think Gavin and Shane are just so so cute!
