Houston's Childens Festival

A few days ago, Donnie, our neighbor, told us of this festival for kids to be held this weekend in Downtown Houston. We didn't have much planned, so we thought it might be fun to take Andrew and check it out. It was crazy packed; and there was so much to do and eat and drink!

The Tot Spot was a little small. More of the activities were geared to older kids. But we still had a nice time; Andrew just watched it all and took it in. I think he was a little taken aback with the crowds, but he didn't cry or anything. But in the Tot Spot, they also had a little area where you could play with pots, pans, and kitchen tools tied with string. He really enjoyed the bubble machine. The kid loves him some bubbles!

Daddy and Mommy got to enjoy one of their favorite carnival/festival foods...turkey legs! We love us some turkey legs! Ha ha!

We will definitely have to go back when Andrew is older!
