This morning, we attended Palmer's third birthday party. When I told Andrew where we were going, he was so excited and kept asking to go "right now". If only he could be placated by telling him "good things come to those who wait." I can't wait until he understands that mantra!
When we arrived at the McNulty residence, Andrew went straight for Palmer's train table and made himself right at home. Eventually, he went to Palmer's playroom and found some cool toys to play with. He had a great time playing and even took time out from playing to do some drawing and coloring at Palmer's art table.
Jenny and Devin ordered pizza, one of Andrew's favorites, for lunch. It was cute watching all the kids sit and eat. The little ones ate their pizza and some fruit. Andrew also had been snacking on some pigs in the blanket that Jenny had made, which were so yummy.
After, we sang Happy Birthday to the birthday boy and had some cake and ice cream. Andrew didn't want to leave, but unfortunately, we couldn't stay longer because we had already made plans to spend the day in League City with Uncle Y and his family.
But we had a great time just getting to celebrate with one of Andrew's favorite little buddies. Happy 3rd Birthday, Palmer! Thanks for having us and we love you and your family so much!
