Donovan Park

Tonight, we took Andrew to Donovan Park in the Heights just north of us. Our friends had told us about and we saw it while driving a while back so we wanted to try it out. It was pretty neat--all wooden and very big. Andrew was probably a little too young for it, but that made no difference to him. When we first got there, he took a misstep and fell (but was unscathed) because he wasn't looking. But after that, he did just fine climbing up and down and around. He kept going back to one part that was built to be a train. No surprise there! When I saw it, I thought to myself that Andrew is going to go crazy over this. But he swung a little bit and did a few slides, but that train was the piece de resistance for Drew! He didn't want to go home, but we told him it was a bath time and luckily, we managed to finally persuade him to leave (and without any fuss or tears).
