Sky Zone

A few of the mommies from Gymboree decided to have another play date before school began for the kids. I offered up Sky Zone to them for a few different reasons: (1) it's indoors; (2) the kids would surely get worn out; and (3) I thought the kids would enjoy it. And all of the purposes were served!! All the kids seemed to have a really good time. They did a lot of jumping!! I was impressed with their stamina.

Afterwards, we agreed to all go out to eat somewhere and came up with Gringo's, a Mexican restaurant not too far away. We had somewhat a large party and they asked if we could split into two tables. We of course agreed thinking we would just split up between families. But when we got to our tables, the kids all said they wanted to sit together! All of the mommies sort of just looked at one another and I think we all just said "what the hell?!" We expected the worst, but got the best...well, really really good. The boys (baby Fiona sat at our table) did so well!!! And I can't say how nice it was to sit with the girls and just talk. We were all so surprised. It was the best part of the day for sure! I guess all those days of eating with their classes at school has paid off!! And to reward them for sitting together so well, we all got soft serve ice cream!
