This morning at St. Luke's, we had the annual Dad's Valentine Breakfast, which is pretty much what it sounds like. The classes invite the dads to come in and have breakfast with the kids. Luckily, I had signed up to be the photographer for the party so I got to come too. Andrew was so excited to have his daddy come to school with him as all the kids were.
The kids had such a great time and were all so well behaved. They sat at the table nicely while the dads got kolaches and fruit for both the dads and the kids. And the kids sat so patiently and quietly, it was amazing. What these teachers have done with our kids never ceases to amaze me. I just don't know why they don't act like this at home!?
Anyways, after breakfast, the kids were able to go into their centers and play while the dads watched and played too. Andrew wanted Daddy to read books to him. And then, the dads got a little surprise...a photo frame with the kid's picture in it that they had decorated. It was really cute!
We all totally loved the breakfast this morning. I am so glad that we are getting to participate in all these traditions at St. Luke's.
Below are some photos of Andrew and Daddy this morning. The rest can be found at our new Shutterfly site for SLDS events.
