Back to the Beach

Today, we took Andrew back to the beach down in Galveston for the second time. It was really windy; and the waters were really choppy. The lifeguards even issued a warning to keep away from the jetties. Andrew quickly stepped into the water, but got scared when a wave came ashore that took him by surprise. A setback, definitely.

Andrew played in the sand for most of the time mainly making sand trains, but he did like the sand molds of an airplane and tractor he has. He eventually walked in the water again, but didn't go in very far. I think he was really scared of the waves and of not knowing how strong they were going to be.

But he still had fun and seems to like the beach. He said he wanted to go back when we asked him. Hopefully, it will be less choppy the next time; and he'll go back in the water.
