Today was Andrew's Easter Egg Hunt and Party at school. I came early to help hide the eggs and set up for the party while the kids were playing outside. Of course, many of them, including Andrew, tried to come over to the Garden of Make Believe, which is right next to their playground, where we were hiding eggs. We had to tell them not to peek and shoo them away.
Then it was finally time for the hunt and Mr. Sanchez and Ms. Edgett led the kids out to the garden. The kids were all anxious and excited. Mr. Sanchez gave the "go" and off they went. All the kids scattered and began collecting their eggs. Andrew ran around like crazy. I was very proud when he started helping his classmates gather more eggs towards the end of the hunt!
After, we went back to the classroom for the party. The kids decorated their own Easter egg cookies. For craft, the kids decorated eggs with stickers. Of course, they all enjoyed themselves!!
Andrew couldn't wait till we got home this afternoon to open all his eggs!
