Unfortunately, we arrived later than scheduled thanks to some incompetence as a result of the recent Continental/United airline merger, but I won't dwell on that except to say that Andrew was so distraught having missed our flight. But we made it a couple of hours than scheduled and we were just so happy to be here.
After we checked in our hotel, we walked down a few blocks to Times Square including a quick run into the Toys R Us before it closed. Andrew loved looking around checking everything out--all the lights, billboards, and people. After grabbing a bite to eat at a place called Junior's, we headed back to the hotel for some much needed rest. We all have a big day tomorrow!
