Ten years have passed since that fateful day. I still vividly remember how Mom and I were in Shreveport visiting Anh Thu and her family. I remember that morning hearing about it on the news in utter disbelief. I remember how my sister's friend Beth called to say that her husband was safe (he worked at the Pentagon). I remember how President Bush emergency landed at Barksdale AFB. I remember watching the two towers collapse thinking it couldn't be real. I remember feeling sad, angry, and horrified among so many more emotions that day. I remember...and I will always remember.
I leave you with a picture of Andrew today in a patriotic ensemble down in League City and one of my favorites pictures post 09/11.
