Daddy researched things to do in while we were in Pennsylvania. One of the attractions he looked at was Hershey Park which was about an hour away from Janine's. It looked like fun so we headed out there along with Stephanie and Michael (Tom was still playing in his basketball tournament).
We arrived and headed straight for the kid rides. Luckily, there were quite a bit of them and they even had this section of the park were they were predominately located. While we took Andrew on the kiddie rides, Stephanie and Michael went off to ride the more adventurous rides.
Later, we walked to the water park where they had a pretty awesome splash pad. The water was pretty cold, but that did not deter Andrew. He ran all around the round and went down a few of the slides. But shortly thereafter, it started to sprinkle so they closed the water park.
We walked around some more and got some yummy chocolate funnel cake and some hot chocolate. It was Hershey, after all!
It was getting late so we decided to head out. But before leaving the park, we stopped by at Chocolate World. The main attraction was a ride where they showed us how they make chocolate. Andrew's favorite part was when they handed out samples. We looked around some more including the massive store they had there before we drove back to Reading.
We had such a wonderfully fun time. And of course, spending time with Stephanie made it all the better.
