Brave Highland Games

I had read about this event down at Discovery Green promoting the new Pixar movie, Brave, that is coming out soon. Andrew has seen the trailers for the movie and says that he wants to go watch it so I thought it might be fun to check out. I also knew that we could take him to the dancing water fountains too.

For the Highland Games, they had set up a few activities for the kids. Andrew did a ball toss, sheaf toss, caber toss, and archery. He was a little timid at first, but he finally came around and enjoyed himself. They were handing out little promotional items for the movie so Andrew liked that as well.

Then, we headed for the fountains where Andrew had a ball running around and getting wet. It was definitely a good way to cool down from the heat.
