We were invited to Mac's 3rd birthday party at the Second Baptist Church Recreational Center this afternoon. Mac was also sharing the birthday party with another friend of his, Caleb. Mrs. Alana had told me there was a playground and bowling alley at the center so I knew there would be plenty for Andrew to do. Boy, did he ever have a good time both playing in the playgrounds as well as playing bowling for the first time (not including Wii bowling).
James and I decided to take the first lane to keep out of other guests' way, but it worked out great because there was an opening on the left side. So, Andrew would roll his ball down and then run to the side and try to push his ball even farther down the lane. He was Mr. Independent trying to carry his ball from the ball return to the lane. Crazy kid!!
Later, we sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed cupcakes. Andrew ate quickly so he could back to playing. We stayed a little while longer and then left because Daddy was leaving straight for San Antonio to attend a party honoring Uncle Brian's 100th UIL win in soccer. We felt it was best for Andrew and I to stay home since it would be a short trip.
