Once we got there, we got him ready and he headed straight for the water. There was no time to waste. He went down all the slides over and over again, including the tunnel slide. He also played with all his little buddies and it was nice for Daddy and Mommy to get to catch up with some of their parents too. Daddy took him on the lily pads with Elise and slid down the slides with Evan. Daddy even got to have some fun too and go down the big slide.
Lunch was served (pizza). Evan and Andrew ate well, but were impatient about going back in the water. We played some more before having cake and cupcakes. Poor birthday boy. Connor was out cold--sleeping in Michelle's lap!! He didn't even stir while we sang him "Happy Birthday".
After cake, Andrew went back to go swim some more. Most of the guests left shortly afterwards, but Andrew of course didn't want to go home. So, we decided to stay to wear Andrew out. He and Evan had a great time. We took the boys to play basketball a little bit even though they couldn't toss the ball up high enough. But they had a good time just playing with balls in the water. Finally, we decided to leave and head home. Sure enough, Andrew was sacked out by the time we got home.
Another great party. We have been busy this weekend, but we had the best time!! Happy Birthday, Connor!! Thanks for letting us share in your big day!
