Bon Voyage for Jean and Emily

This afternoon, we had a surprise bon voyage party for Jean and Emily hosted by Sabrina and Liya. We were supposed to arrive by 3pm, but after the zoo, Andrew decided to take a longer time to fall asleep and took a longer nap altogether so he didn't wake up until 3pm. So needless to say, we were late.

It was definitely bittersweet--for me at least. It was fun getting to hang with everyone especially the guests of honor, but sad because in the back of my mind, I knew that it would be one of the last times we would see Jean and Emily and I would be soon saying goodbye to our dear friends.

Sabina and her husband, Amir, were gracious hosts and did a wonderful job with the party. The food was delicious--Andrew loved the lasagna. And Andrew loved playing with Liya and all of her toys. Liya was really sweet to share all her toys.

Time flew by and it had quickly gotten late. So, we took a very unwilling to depart Andrew home for bath and bed.

Jean and Emily, we love you lots and are going to miss you! Sabrina and Liya, thanks for inviting us to join in the festivities. We had such a wonderful time!
