Daddy was able to rearrange his schedule and come to the zoo with us this morning. We did all the normal things we do at the zoo like the African Forest and carousel. But on our way out, a zookeeper had a few marine items that the kids could look at and even touch. At first, Andrew didn't want to touch anything, but quickly changed his mind.
Then, we took Daddy to Rice so he could do some work. Andrew and I meanwhile went on a ride around the campus on the Rice shuttle bus. It was something Andrew has been wanting to do ever since Daddy's been working at Rice.
