Houston Gymnastics Academy

This afternoon, we had our first class at Houston Gymnastics Academy. We had previously came by the facility to check out the classes; and I was pretty impressed with it. I really liked how they try to keep the kids active. They have a few smaller things for the kids to do at every rotation so they aren't waiting for their turn on the major apparatus too much. We are in Coach Gabby's class; and she seems very sweet.

Andrew was once again hesitant to join the class and even cried that he didn't want to do it. But I reminded him that he was scared the first time he tried out gymnastics and he ended up having a good time. And Coach Gabby said I could sit right inside the gym inside of the lobby if that helped. Andrew seemed to be okay with that idea so he joined the class. After that, he was great and participated very well.

Hope he likes it the remaining weeks of class!!
