Ngoai, Daddy, Mommy, and Andrew left yesterday evening. Andrew was great on the flight out falling asleep right after take off and sleeping until we landed. Once we got to Anh Thu's house, he was wide awake and wanted to check out the new surroundings. The kids had waited up for us and wanted to play with their cousin. But we didn't let them play too long. I wanted Andrew to get some more sleep.
We woke up and hung around. Uncle Rick went to work. Anh Thu and Ngoai went to the store. Pop and Grandma (Rick's dad and stepmom) went on a walk around the neighborhood. Brennan wanted to go play outside so we took all the kids outside. The girls rode their bikes around while Brennan and Daddy played ball. Andrew played with whatever he could find and get his hands onto. He liked walking around the streets to my dismay, but the streets weren't too busy so he was fairly safe.
After that we went to Red Rocks to go walking/hiking. It was absolutely amazing! So gorgeous! The kids were really into climbing the rocks, including Andrew who didn't seem to realize that he was too young and too small to be doing what he wanted to do. He wasn't going to let his age or size stop him from following his cousins! Daddy and Aunt Anh Thu carried him around for the most part (so Mommy could snap pictures). He seemed to really love it. We might have an outdoors boy after all!
Then, we went to drop the girls off for a ballet rehearsal. After, we walked around the Strip. We went to MGM Grand so that Andrew could see the lions. We also went to ride the tram between the Excalibur and Mandalay Bay hotels for Brennan and Andrew. Then, we headed home for some dinner and some rest.
There are just way to many pictures to post, but I have included some of my favorites. The rest are on Shutterfly at the following links:
